Celebrity Rehab Does Not Work 0

Posted on December 08, 2010 by Jennib And Friends

Getting celebrities mentally strong, focused and ready to inspire a generation. That is our role as those working close with these A list celebrities. Why is it that we keep seeing these celebrities in and out of rehab? The celebrity is obviously repeating the same behaviour over and over again. All human behaviour is based on patterns. So why do we still not stop these patterns? As I have stated in previous keynotes, our psychological patterns are like cd’s. You can remove negative cd’s and play empowering cd’s. So why do we not help our celebs make long tern changes rather than simply throw them in and out of rehab over and over again?

The challenge I have with a lot of the rehab clinics is that they’re not designed to really deal with the celebrity deep seated issue. They simply put the celebrity with other people who have also have an addiction and intend that if they cut off the connections to the drugs, they get better.

How many times does a celebrity transformation follow with ‘celebrity are back in rehab.

Why?

They don’t deal with the real reason that the celebrity is motivated to do the drugs, alcohol, sex addiction in the first place.

It’s like a leak from the bathroom tap. Therapy keeps mopping up the water off the floor until it’s bareable, and then when it overflows, it needs mopping up again. Fix the cause. Find out where the leak is, and fix it at source. This not only prevents the need for mopping but also streamlines the entire plumbing system water pressure.

There are two causes of addiction.

Cause for addiction No1. Once you get into the cycle, what’s addicting the celebrity is the neurological chemical attraction where your brain and your body is saying ‘I need it, I need it, I want it.’

Cause for addiction No 2. The thing that drove the celebrity to begin the habit was some other need that hasn’t been met or fulfilled – whether that need is to escape a pain or the need to

Advantages of Music Lessons at Home 25

Posted on November 20, 2010 by Jennib And Friends

Although music has been globally known for its advantages in priming the brain, there have been issues as to which approach should be implemented.

A lot of parents are baffled between music lessons at home vs. music lessons in a studio. There are, of course, opinions on which venue is better, however it should be taken into consideration that both have advantages and disadvantages. Nevertheless, there are benefits of taking music lessons at home that deal with money and convenience.

·         Parents become more involved in their children’s music lessons. This also allows the parent to supervise and show support to the child’s music interest. Children tend to be more motivated to do better in their lessons if they feel the support and encouragement from their parents. Parents will be able to monitor where their children are good at, and it will help them understand the strengths and weaknesses of their children.

·         Students Memorise the Lessons Better. Children who travel from time to time may most likely lose the drive in taking music lessons, and most of all—the memory of the previous lessons taught. Researchers said that practicing in the same location increases memory and retention. Students may more likely remember the lessons when they are in a familiar and convenient atmosphere.

·         Students are Physically Prepared. Have you ever experienced packing your bulky books and instruments on weekends and travel far from your home just to attend your music lessons?  What a disaster, right? Physical preparedness is important before taking any music lessons. If the student has to pack his valuables, it is inevitable for the student to forget things or, worse, lose things

Listening To Music As A Tinnitus Cure – Seriously! 26

Posted on November 19, 2010 by Jennib And Friends

This treatment is inexpensive and easy to implement. Just go to the doctor to calculate the frequency of your tinnitus and then to work with them by removing those tones. This tinnitus treatment does take some time to work but it is possible to cure the disease.
The theory behind this treatment for tinnitus is that if we eliminate these frequencies of the sounds we hear, we can make the brain ignore the noise on this frequency, thus enabling the elimination of the tinnitus symptoms at least.
The researchers altered the favorite songs of those affected by the disease, eliminating the tones that correspond to the frequency of their tinnitus. So, after a year listening to that music, study participants said they had reduced the rate of ringing in the ears.
There is no treatment for tinnitus that has worked in all cases. There is alternative medicine since there are some known solutions that might work to cure tinnitus. One is music therapy, which according to research by German scientists from the University of Munster, could cure tinnitus.
The causes of tinnitus are unfortunately unknown to science. We only know that people with tinnitus are people whose auditory system is modified in relation to a normal person, and in some sense this is probably caused by the disease.
Tinnitus is an ear disease that is characterized by producing a constant ringing in the ears for people who have it, mild enough to seriously affect their hearing, but annoying enough to significantly affect their quality of life. This Tinnitus cure could be a long shot but a shot none the less.
