Whatever, they regard it of less importance than the Americans do, and Christmas should be the biggest event during the year. In the United States, thanksgiving plays an extremely significant role in people’s life. Its origin dates back to centuries ago when the English settlers celebrated the festival with the Native Americans in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The history is kind of complicated and a little far from the contemporary belief. Oh, never mind about that. Now Thanksgiving Day has become a special day for families to reunite and hold gratitude for anything nice in the life. People share their appreciation with their loved ones at the festival with a rich feast of those delicious treats, such as turkey, cakes and wines.
