As your ideal travel companion, Samsonite would like to suggest some tips for making each and every trip of yours a memorable one. People love to travel, but dull moments might creep in. There are some very simple ways to not just keep boredom away but also make your trip ever exciting.

Break away from the usual

People have all the usual thanksgiving dinners, house-warming parties, birthdays, picnics and other such traditional events around the year which is all fine. For a more exciting trip, plan something that you have never done before. Unusual events are always more memorable and exciting as you have to do a new kind of planning for the event.

Groove to the Music

Music is the best thing to make up for a dull moment. When you are on a trip, specially in a group, you can listen to the music, sing along and dance to it. It makes for a very vivid experience when the combined voices of the pro singers and the cacophony of the not so pro combines to make one voice. Make sure you carry a collection of brand new music which everyone can enjoy.

Food for you stomach and your thought

When on a trip do not hesitate to experiment with restaurants and food you normally do not try. Food is one of the primary factors in experiencing different culture. Experimenting with new types of foods always sticks around in your memory.

Play the Games

Games, whether indoor or outdoor, allow a lot of interaction

Music Streaming: One of the Best Ways to Discover New Music 15

Posted on November 25, 2010 by Jennib And Friends

There are many ways to discover new music – from simply listening to the radio and keeping up with music events and news, to browsing MP3 music downloads online. One of the most popular ways to discover new music is undoubtedly via music streaming.

Streaming sites offer users a massive library of music – inclusive of all genres – that they can listen to on-demand. What’s more, such sites can personalis music for users based on just a few pieces of information. A common model for a music streaming site is such that it asks users to choose an artist that they enjoy listening to. The site then plays music both by that artist and by other, similar sounding artists. The user has the option to ‘vote’ on songs along the way – that is, to tell the site whether they’re enjoying certain songs or not. The site then attempts to ‘learn’ these preferences and returns future songs and artists accordingly. In this way, users can also shape a music station for themselves.

One big appeal to music streaming is that it’s incredibly convenient for users. Anyone with an internet connection can utilise music streaming to listen to their favourite artists and genres from all over the world. What’s more, the delivery of music is often continuous on streaming sites, enabling users to enjoy uninterrupted music and making it a popular choice for the workplace or at home.

Another advantage to music streaming is that it’s often very cheap or free. Some music streaming sites allot a certain number of ‘free’ hours for each user. Once those hours are reached, users have a choice to sign up for a monthly or yearly membership – both of which are usually very affordable. Thus, users are given access to quality music for great value.

Finally, one of the biggest reasons music streaming sites have gained popularity is they offer a means by which to discover new music. When a user specifies which artist or genre they like, the site will return similar

Dance Music Vinyl 11

Posted on November 24, 2010 by Jennib And Friends

If you are a follower of music then you’ll probably notice that music trends are changing. In fact it is likely to be something that you have noticed even if you are not a fan of music. I am sure we are all well aware of the fact that even the way we get our music these days is far different to what it was even a few years ago.

Music these days is very much about downloads. Bands put their music out online and people can download it instantly. We still get CD’s in store, but downloads and their popularity is steadily increasing.

That said there are still some hard-core music fans that like the real thing, such as collecting dance music vinyl. Music is still pressed on vinyl for certain tracks and genres and dance music vinyl is probably one of the most popular.

Of course it is not just new dance music vinyl that they are after. Many retro vinyl presses are collectable and hard to find. If you are a music collector then it stands to reason that you’ll want to make sure that you have the music tracks you are after on every format possible. This is why for many people vinyl still remains extremely popular.

However I am sure you are all aware that vinyl is not exactly well stocked in many high streets because it is more of a specialist product. In fact if you are looking for older and rarer pressings then you’ll be even more hard pushed to find what you are looking for.

Looking online is probably the best place to start because you can search from all over. This means that you are not limited to just local suppliers which of course limits your choice. By using the internet you can buy from people all over the world, which makes it easier to find what you are looking for.

There are specific online stores that deal in rare dance music vinyl. If you browse through these you have a high chance of finding what you are after.
