How To Make Android Ringtones For Free 25

Posted on December 27, 2010 by Jennib And Friends

Anyone who owns the android phone will know that it is an absolute beauty with loads of features and a great design that would appeal to almost anyone. If you are looking to get android ringtones added to your phone, you should know that this is a very simple process to go through. Not only can you get ready-made ring tones, however, but you can also create your own ones using music that is ready stored on your library as well.

In order to make your own ringtones you will certainly need a special app downloaded onto your phone. As such, go to the android market from your phone and access the different applications that are available.

Once you are in the market you can start looking around for the specific application you will require. This application is called ringroid, and it will allow you to cut together different songs so that you can create ringtones that are completely unique to you.

Once you have downloaded the application to your android phone you should then open it up and you can use it in order to select different portions of music that you can splice together in order to create the ringtones that you want. Open up the application and select the song that you want to use – you can use the search function on your phone in order to find specific songs if you are having trouble finding them and you have a large music library.

The application will now show you the sound waves of the song that you have selected within your music library. All you need to do is use the play button to play through the song and you can select the specific portion of the song or specific point of the song that you would like to use as part of your ring tone. Using the drag tools that are incorporated into the application you can move around the different parts of the different songs to create something unique.

Once you have finished marking the specific selection you can then simply use the save button in order to save the work you have done. After this you will be able to name the ring tone within the application and you will have options to either set the ring tone as your custom tone or as a default tone.

Using this application you are able to create entirely unique and free ringtones through the music that you already have in your library. There is absolutely no need to purchase any additional music, and you can simply cut and paste things together in order to create something that is applicable to you and no one else.

At the end of the day, why would you want to simply use another generic ring tone that someone else down the street might have on their fine when you can make something that is entirely specific to you? This application on your android phone will certainly allow you to do this.

Posted on November 17, 2010 by Jennib And Friends

How Music Sorting Software Will Save You Tons of Time And Headaches!

Now that hard drives are so inexpensive and music is everywhere, more and more people are turning to a digital collection for their music. This allows you to store it all on one hard drive and then transfer it to any device or CD that you want to. As music libraries become bigger and bigger in size, it becomes harder and harder to keep everything organized. Also when you download music from the Internet, sometimes the files are labeled with things other than the title, things like the track number. iTunes is a very popular way to manage your library but going through one by one and fixing all of those mistakes can take hundreds of hours if your library is big enough.

Because of this problem, music sorting software has been created to automate this process and let you get back to what you enjoy doing;listening to your music. One of the most critically acclaimed products can save you tons of time by helping with the following!

The Best Music Sorting Software has an impressive feature list:

1. “Clean” mode will identify tracks by their sound waves and automatically name them correctly

2. Download the correct cover art for your music

3. Automatically renames and organizes music however you want it

4. Finds duplicate songs either deletes or marks them as duplicates

This iTunes organizer is one of the most full featured music sorting software solutions on the market. It’s “clean” mode is something that not many other programs can do, and can save you tons of time when you are trying to identify a song. Instead of listening to it and trying to remember its name, you can just run it through the application for auto-recognition. All in all we can give this program a big solid thumbs up. If you are someone that has too much music, or anticipates that you will have a ton of music in the future this program

The Classical Musician is Right on The Money 0

Posted on December 05, 2009 by Jennib And Friends

It is true that drum machines are wonderful for home recording. You may be lucky enough to know a drummer with the invention of Stewart Copeland, the power of John Bonham or the explosive force of Keith Moon. Unfortunately, though, if you stick this drummer in your home studio/front room/flat, the neighbours are not going to be very happy.

That said, click tracks and drum machines are two of the worst things ever to happen to popular music. First, drum machines like all machines are expressionless in the true sense. No human being is behind the sound at the moment that sound is made. Of course, the technology is a human artefact, and the programming carries human intention that may contain aesthetic expression. But it is the machine that executes the actual music. The essential
link in the moment of performance between the soul and sound waves is not there. The music is literally “soul-less”. It is a huge irony that “beatboxes” came to dominate a type of music that once termed itself “soul”.

Second, both click tracks and drum machines force an inhuman straitjacket onto music-making. Much of the prejudice against popular music that exists in the field of so-called “serious music” is based on a mixture of ignorance, cultural brainwashing and an inadequate critical vocabulary with which to describe how popular music achieves its greatest effects. But with regard to tempo, for once, the reaction of the classical musician is right on the money. If you suggested to an orchestra that they could improve their performance of a Beethoven symphony or a Rachmaninov piano concerto with a click track, so they would all be perfectly in time, they would fall off their stools laughing. When they recovered, they would insist that your click track idea would, at one digital stroke, remove all the expression from the music. In order for music to “breathe”, performers must be free to pause slightly before a chord or modulation or phrase. Classical scores are full of terms such as accelerando, ritenuto, rallentando,a tempo all of which indicate departures from strict time. In other words, “TPV” is an essential element of music performance. Why should popular music be any different?
